Jamison Karon is a Los Angeles based writer and filmmaker. After receiving a BFA in Theatre from the University of Arizona, Jamison moved to New York City to focus on creating original queer content: staging banned queer literature, writing plays, and directing a collection of interviews on marriage equality for Yale Publishing Press. Jamison is the writer, director, and producer of the narrative web-series and short film Sorry You’re Sad, as well as the art film Last Night. Jamison is a screenwriting fellow at the American Film Institute (Class of 2019). Currently, he is working to publish a collection of erotic memoir, a product of his residency at Tom of Finland Foundation. The book How to Be a Faggot will be available September 2017.
